WHAT TO EXPECT:
Your apprenticeship lasts three years. The vocational school in Neumünster is part of the "dual training", where you will be taught the theoretical knowledge for your apprenticeship. In the company, you will work in and get to know various departments. The focus will be on the following areas of work:
- Transferring, converting and creating data in pre-press
- Print-compliant data preparation, automated and manual
- Product-specific selection of material, color and printing process
- Setting up, checking and maintaining printing machines
- Software-controlled machine set-up, measuring and testing activities
- Production planning and analysis
- Product processing, cutting, assembly and finishing
YOUR PROFILE:
- An intermediate or higher school leaving certificate
- Understanding of technical and software contexts
- Basic knowledge of Office 365 and possibly graphics programs, e.g. ADOBE CC
- Stamina and ability to concentrate as well as a careful and independent way of working
- Interest in manual activities
- A good eye for shapes and colors
- Enjoy working in a team
- Good written and spoken German
