Accessibility is our goal - we are on the way
This declaration on accessibility applies to the website of Kleinhempel GmbH, based in Hamburg, published at https://kleinhempel.de.
As a legal entity under private law, we endeavor to make our website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Hamburg Disability Equality Act (HmbBGG) and the Hamburg Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (HmbBITVO) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
The accessibility requirements result from Section 1 HmbBITVO in conjunction with Section 3 (1-4) and Section 4 of the BITV (Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance) of the Federal Government.
The review of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment carried out on July 2, 2025 using the Google Lighthouse tool and additional checks based on the WCAG 2.1 criteria.
Based on the review, the website is partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements.
Content that is not accessible
The following content and functions are currently not yet fully accessible:
- Incomplete ARIA role assignment for sliders (WCAG criterion 4.1.2 - Name, Role, Value)
→ Will be checked and corrected by technical service provider by Q4/2025.
We are not currently aware of any other potential accessibility restrictions. The website was analyzed on the basis of a self-assessment with Google Lighthouse and additional manual checks.
